NU/ERA Martial Arts Academy: Presented by Triple Play
This free class is offered Monday and Friday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm for kids ages 6 and up. Lead instructor Cole Crouse has over 25 years of experience working with children and adults to achieve many objectives. "Our focus is to work with each student in achieving their goals while at the same time helping their teammates achieve theirs. Our students begin to discover the importance of responsibility, respect, self-discipline and dedication."
Power Hour
This is a program designed to encourage and help kids with their homework. It is also a mentoring opportunity for older club members by offering tutoring to the younger members. Program offered Monday-Thursday throughout the school year.
Club Tech
Our Tech Lab kids will have the opportunity to access computers and the internet (with parent permission & safety filters). Our programs provide information for young members on how to use the internet safely and effectively. This is a great tool for school assignments and to work on digital arts.
Fine Arts
Every January, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County holds a Fine Arts Exhibit showing off members artwork in many categories. The winners from the exhibit go onto regional and even national exhibits. We encourage artwork throughout the year.
Imagemakers Photography Class
Imagemakers is designed to help club members hone their photography skills and showcase their photographs in the community. Look for our photographs on display in City Hall!
Torch Club/Keystone Club
Members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities in four areas: service to club & community, education, health & fitness and social recreation.
Fitness Authority
This program is designed to reverse the increasing rate of obesity and lack of regular physical activity among children and teens. Members can explore many activities that get them off the couch and start moving! The program includes Club regional and national fitness competitions with a high tech component where kids can enter their scores on a web site.
